About the project
We are proud to contribute to one of the most impressive infrastructure projects in Norway – the Askøy Bridge (Askøybrua).
Askøybrua is a suspension bridge near Bergen, with a total length of approximately 1057 m and a main span of 850 m. It is a strategically important transport infrastructure object operating in the difficult Scandinavian climate conditions – strong winds, humidity, salt exposure and temperature fluctuations. Such projects have extremely high structural, quality and durability requirements.
Our team manufactured metal structures for the suspension bridge cable system - responsible steel parts that require maximum precision and reliability.
The scope of the project included:
▪️ Structural steel processing
▪️ Precision machining (CNC machining)
▪️ Welding work according to strict quality standards
▪️ Production of metal structures for infrastructure projects
▪️ Metallization (thermal spraying technology)
▪️ Special anti-corrosion protection (>500 μm total coating thickness)
▪️ Industrial painting with a multi-layer protective system
▪️ Non-destructive testing (NDT)
▪️ Visual inspections and a comprehensive quality control process
▪️ Traceability and documentation management
Bridge construction and suspension bridge structures require not only engineering expertise, but also the highest level of manufacturing precision, certified processes and long-term corrosion protection. In such projects, every micron and every inspection is important.
We are proud to contribute to an international infrastructure project in Norway, which combines steel construction, heavy engineering, industrial coating and high Scandinavian quality standards.
