About the project

DC3 Tower is one of the tallest buildings in the Donau City district of Vienna, forming part of a modern high-rise development located along the Danube. The building is designed as a high-load monolithic reinforced concrete structure, subject to exceptionally high requirements for structural accuracy and reliability.

Within this project, we manufactured large-scale steel embedded parts for reinforced concrete columns. The dimensions of a single unit were 2.2 × 2.3 × 0.8 m, with a weight of approximately 6 t. These embedded elements are used for load transfer, reinforcement of column nodes, and connection of other steel or reinforced concrete structural elements.

Large embedded parts of this size are characterized by the need for:

high geometrical accuracy,

precise positioning of anchoring and connection elements,

controlled welding deformations,

seamless integration into monolithic reinforced concrete during construction.
